140-piece cello orchestra

More than 140 children and teenagers from all across the country play in the Hello Cello Orchestra. Joel Siepmann, principal cellist of the Metropole Orchestra, leads the orchestra and has written new compositions and arrangements of music by the Rolling Stones (Paint it, Black by Wednesday), Billie Eilish (Bad Guy), and music from centuries ago.

Before the concert, four two rehearsals take place in four different regions of The Netherlands – with a Hello Cello Day to finish as conclusion.
