Close harmony and electrifying percussion

This summer, Black Harmony celebrates its twentieth anniversary! For this festive concert, the group will draw from their extensive and versatile repertoire. Black Harmony is an ambitious and passionate musical ensemble, known for their close-harmony vocals and Afro-Surinamese percussion. With their refined arrangements and unified blend of voices, the singers create a warm, harmonious sound that is both moving and energising.

Black Harmony acts as an ambassador for traditional Afro-Surinamese music. The singers perform exclusively in Sranan Tongo, focusing on the lesser-known yet rich styles of Apinti and Kawina. Through this mission, the group seeks to contribute to the preservation and recognition of Afro-Surinamese heritage within Dutch society.

Outdoor concert
This Terrace Concert is an outdoor event. The sun can be intense and the wind can be quite strong near the water, so come prepared. In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, the performance will be held indoors in the Entrance Hall, which overlooks the river IJ.

	Tickets

	You can choose from the following ticket options: Concert with drinks arrangement € 25 per person Seated on the terrace. Includes a platter of snacks and one drink (choice from standard selection of soft drinks/beer/wine). Tip: order a snack platter right away for just € 8 per person (also available vegetarian, cheaper than ordering on the terrace)! Concert with 2-course diner € 59,50 per person Seated on the terrace. Includes a two-course menu (choice from a selection of dishes) and one drink (choice from standard selection of soft drinks/beer/wine).
