Performances about resilience, identity and connection

Queer Landing is back at Muziekgebouw! On the evening before World Pride, Queer Landing is hosting a pre-party on our sunny terrace. This Black Wave edition focuses on artists from the Global South. In a time of war, genocide, displacement and polarisation, the artists show how art can be used to foster connection and activism. Let’s dance through the chaos of the world!

sign.nah
In this listening session, led by sign.nah, experimental club music, soundscapes and political narratives come together. Through sounds from different parts of the world, sign.nah invites us to reflect, listen attentively and experience music as a shared space.

Ahmad Mallah & Rebecca Lillich // Krüger
Yalla Tnam (2026) is a ritual performance about grief, protest and survival. Interweaving Fairuz’s lullaby Yalla Tnam with Syrian mourning rituals from the revolution, Ahmad Mallah and Rebecca Lillich // Krüger explore themes of migration, connection and alienation in the Netherlands. Simultaneously deeply personal and political.

Razeen
Sudanese-Dutch artist Razeen navigates the space between his Afro-Arabic roots and Western pop influences. His music bridges seemingly stark contrasts: between tradition and innovation, spirituality and taboo, masculinity and femininity, war and peace. With his high-energy vibe, he is a favourite in Amsterdam’s underground scene. His debut album is called Yallah Nargus, which literally translates as let’s dance.

Mavi Veloso
Born in Brazil and based in the Netherlands, Mavi Veloso is an artist, performer and musician. Infused with humour, sensuality, and energy, her work moves between experimental pop and performance art. Her new track, Satisfied, is a sparkling avant-pop track that blends deconstructed club vibes with high-energy ballroom and vogue-house influences.

DJ Rasureitor
DJ Rasureitor is a Colombian artist who uses the dancefloor as a space for community, expression and connection. In her high-energy sets, she fuses Latin American rhythms with contemporary club culture: from merengue and salsa to psychedelic cumbia and new electronic sounds. Meet us on the dancefloor!

Queer Landing advocates for the visibility, equality and emancipation of queer culture, and is an initiative by multidisciplinary artist Mini Maxwell. This programme has been curated by them.
