Rhythmic and absurdly funny performance about the need to fit in 
 

An empty space. Four performers. Everything seems fine. Until suddenly, a strange object falls from the sky. What on earth is that? What do we do with it? And who is brave enough to touch it first? Gewoontedieren (Creatures of habit) is a wordless, rhythmic and absurdly funny performance about the need to fit in. About peer pressure and the fear – or freedom! – of the unknown. For everyone between the ages of 6 and 10 who is looking for their place in the pack. 
 
Percussion group Percossa uses rhythm and humour to hold a mirror up to our everyday habits, revealing how strange they really are. A newspaper becomes a hat, a suitcase transforms into a drum, and a joke can spiral into a musical duel between two towels. One thing is certain: it is a total feast for the senses.

1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. / Foyer deck 3 / Toddler deck (ages 2-4)
For the youngest children, there is a musical play area on Foyerdeck 3 before and after concerts in the Kleine Zaal. It’s a great way to get in the mood or just have some fun. For children ages 4 and up, there are various activities throughout the building after performances in the Grote Zaal. Become a composer in 15 minutes, explore the artists’ trail, or make your own musical instrument.
