For those who simply cannot do without great cello music for a year, there is now the Great Cellists series, a joint initiative of the Cello Biennale and Muziekgebouw. Major international soloists such as Steven Isserlis, Jean-Guihen Queyras, Kian Soltani and Maximilian Hornung deliver first-rate performances.
