General terms and conditions of Friend membership

• Only natural persons can join as a Friend.

• The duration of the Friend membership is one year and starts from the date the membership form is completed.

• The Friend membership is valid for an indefinite period of time.

• The Friend can cancel the membership at any time via vrienden@muziekgebouw.nl. This will cancel the membership and the direct debit authorisation for the following calendar year. Unfortunately, we cannot refund Friend contributions already paid.

• The membership fee is collected annually by direct debit. The first direct debit will take place within a month of joining.

• If the direct debit order is reversed, our administrative department will contact the Friend to verify the details provided and will send the direct debit authorisation to the bank again. If this second attempt also fails, the administrative department will put the membership on inactive status.

• As a Friend, you will be kept informed of news, special activities and offers for Friends through the Friends newsletter and occasional e-mails. You can, of course, unsubscribe at any time.

• Friends occasionally receive mail from the Association of Friends of the Muziekgebouw.  You can unsubscribe from this via vrienden@muziekgebouw.nl.

• The Muziekgebouw has the right to change these terms and conditions and the details of the Friends membership. Any changes to the terms and conditions will be announced on muziekgebouw.nl. These and future terms and conditions also apply to agreements already entered into.
