WIND (2+)

Two performers move through a wondrous, angular world of cardboard, which is itself also constantly in motion. One builds forms, colours, and emptiness. The other blows on extraordinary, self-built instruments: from a tiny finger whistle to an enormous bellows horn. Will their wonderful fantasy world hold up? Will the wind blow everything over? Or will they build an entire wind city with their sounds and images?

In WIND, clarinettist and set designer Toon Quanten and visual artist Karolien Hamers meet in an enchanting performance without words. Full of surprises, humour, and jaw-dropping moments. WIND was made possible with the support of the Muziekgebouw Production House, an initiative that helps bring unique and innovative performances to the stage.
