Drie jonge cellisten spelen het Celloconcert van Schumann. Er kan er maar één de Eerste Prijs krijgen, maar op weg naar deze Finale hebben ze alle drie bewezen tot de toptalenten in Nederland te behoren!
De jury van het zevende Nationaal Cello Concours wordt gevormd door Monique Bartels (Nederland), Kristina Blaumane (Letland), Matt Haimovitz (Israël/USA), Reinhard Latzko (Duitsland), Arnau Tomàs (Spanje), Chu Yi-Bing (China) en juryvoorzitter Sven Arne Tepl (Nederland). Patty Hamel is secretaris.
