In our SoundLAB workshop, you will be introduced to remarkable instruments, and discover how ‘ordinary’ objects can be used to make a completely new musical instrument. Anyone can make music with them. This SoundLAB Special focuses on the string quartet. How do you work with four musicians? Who fulfills which role?
The workshop is for children from the age of 7 accompanied by adults. Under the guidance of a musical workshop leader, you and your group will explore all kinds of crazy instruments. Once you have mastered them a bit, your group can make a new piece of music with the instruments. Conceived, created and played entirely by yourselves. A super fun and unique experience.
