Away from the big stages, some of the most beautiful developments take place, helping to shape the music of the future. The New Notes series by bass clarinettist Fie Schouten and composer Aspasia Nasopoulu in the Plein Theatre provides a stage for contemporary chamber music and is a laboratory for the sound of today.
