Peekaboo, who's that on the stage?

A world unfolds from a construction kit. A dancer moves through a white, puzzle-like set, where—peek-a-boo!—it turns out someone else is secretly hiding. They dance around each other, wait to see how things play out, and slowly get to know one another.

Wait a Minute is a wordless, playful dance performance in which simple means create a unique experience every time. Accompanied by the beautiful piano music of Jeroen van Vliet, the unfamiliar becomes familiar in a new environment that comes to life at eye level for young audience members.

How do you interact with someone who’s different? Someone you don’t even know anything about? Movement, light, and beautiful piano music spark the imagination of young and old alike. Eventually, the children are invited onto the stage themselves to build abstract shapes using the puzzle-like set. Wait a minute… just stay true to who you are.
