If you listen well, you will notice that it is (almost) never quiet. Beneath your feet, a teeming world of bacteria, fungi, beetles, springtails and worms thrives. Above your head, butterflies dance with the tiniest flies. In Zoemmm (‘Buzzz’), the Cuban wind quintet Aires Tropicales explores the flying and crawling world of insects with tropical music.
Zoemmm is a cheerful and colourful theatrical concert for audiences aged 4 and above. With a mix of tropical sounds, groovy rhythms and modern hits, such as Bad Guy by Billie Eilish, the musicians breathe new life into the insect orchestra. An invitation to listen along, move along and reflect on the magic of nature.
