What is SoundLAB?
Muziekgebouw has a unique collection of up to 100 bizarre, super interesting musical instruments that have been specially designed for us. Anyone can make music with them!
Wondrous musical instruments
In the SoundLAB, you can play on wondrous instruments, such as the Dato DUO, Toonpad, Formonium and the MODi. With these, you will create a completely new piece of music together with others. The aim of the workshop is to experiment with sounds, experience the fun of making music yourself, and invent new pieces of music in a creative way.

The workshops

We conduct public workshops for:
• children (7+) with adults
• only children (7+)

Duration: 90 minutes
Price child € 9,50 / adult € 12,50
Where: Atriumzaal in Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Piet Heinkade 1, 1019 BR Amsterdam
The Atriumzaal is on your right as you enter the Muziekgebouw via the passenger bridge. From the main entrance on the ground level, take stairs or elevator to the 2nd floor.
