Practical details for your visit

String Quartet Biennale Amsterdam  | 27 Jan - 3 Feb 2024

The most up-to-date information per day can be found on the festival and concert pages: muziekgebouw.nl/sqba. For concerts this is where you will find information about the start and end times, the performers and the works performed. A comprehensive festival booklet is available in the Muziekgebouw; there are no separate program booklets for each concert.

Tickets
Please have your tickets ready so our Front of House staff can scan the barcode. You can find your (e)tickets in the Agenda of your Muziekgebouw account. To do this, log in at muziekgebouw.nl/en/my/signin with the email address you booked your tickets with. You can show e-tickets on your phone, or bring your printed tickets with you.

Additional activities
Experience more than just concerts! For example, you can visit a free Virtual Reality experience on Foyerdeck 1, you can buy CDs and books in the Entreehal, and there is a free lecture by Philipp Blom on Feb 1.

Pre-concert talks
Almost every day there are pre-concert talks at 19.15 before the evening concert at 20.15. Additionally, there are daily Coffee Talks at 10:15 by writer and presenter Katy Hamilton and her guests.

Food and drinks
Want to grab a bite to eat or sit down with a drink between the many concerts? Festival pop-up NICKY KOOKT in the Atrium is open from 11.00 - 20.00 every day. Feel free to drop in! 4'33 grand café is also open around concerts, booking a table is recommended here.

Getting here
From the IJ-side of Central Station the Muziekgebouw is a 15-minute walk. Tram 26, from the front of Central Station, will get you there in 3 minutes. More information can be found on this page
