Scottish Chamber Orchestra + Piotr Anderszewski

Wie begin 2017 bij het ongeëvenaarde debuutrecital van Piotr Anderszewski was in het Muziekgebouw, zal geen moment aarzelen om dit concert te bezoeken. Deze Poolse toppianist keert in dit concert terug als solist én dirigent van het fameuze Scottish Chamber Orchestra met twee beroemde en geliefde pianoconcerten van Mozart.

Het karakter van beide pianoconcerten van Mozart is compleet verschillend: nr. 17 is licht en vrolijk, het twee jaar later geschreven concert nr. 24 is turbulent en veel dramatischer. Het orkest speelt onder leiding van concertmeester Stephanie Gonley ook Poulencs Sinfonietta, een stuk dat exemplarisch is voor de charme en humor van deze Franse componist.
