Celebration 20 years Muziekgebouw
Last Saturday, September 20, Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ celebrated its 20th anniversary with the festive mini-festival 20 Years Muziekgebouw. The audience enjoyed a musical journey of discovery throughout the building, from the Loading Dock to the Kleine Zaal, where a variety of musicians gave short performances, in a venue that was sold out (twice).

Peter Vigh (afternoon) / Bas Duister en Arthur Kerklaan (evening ) in the Entrance Hall
Cappella Amsterdam + Candida Thompson en Tim Posner (Amsterdam Sinfonietta) conducted by Daniel Reuss in the Grote Zaal
Quatuor Danel in the Grote Zaal
They played music by György Kurtág, Kaija Saariaho, Johann Sebastian Bach, Akim Moiseenkov, parts from de nawba Hijaz al-Kabîr, Claude Debussy, Charles Ives, Carl Orff, Dobrinka Tabakova, Kate Moore, Peteris Vask, Mieczyslaw Weinberg and Dmitri Sjostakovitsj.
