A confronting and soul-stirring sensory experience 

Adem van het woud (Breath of the forest) is an urgent theatrical concert, co-created with the Kamayurá community who live in the Amazonian Basin of Brazil. Together with Andreia Duarte, an artist and researcher who lived with the Kamayurá for 5 years, the companies travelled to the Amazon and lived and worked intensively with this indigenous community.  
   
Inspired by their practices, philosophies and the music of Heitor Villa-Lobos, this theatrical concert intertwines live music with movement and puppetry. The project recognizes Indigenous peoples as guardians of the Amazon and keepers of vital knowledge. A meditative and physical experience.
