An ode to life

Fuelled by her Argentinian roots, soprano Ana-Carmen Balestra takes you on a musical journey through life, from the innocence of childhood, through the pangs of love and heartbreaking loss, to the finding of joy in everyday moments. She shares her story through the passionate music of composers like Ravel, Purcell, Saariaho and Mercedes Sosa.

Dutch Classical Talent
Dutch Classical Talent is a promotional programme for talented young Dutch musicians. Laureates include Tania Kross, Lavinia Meijer, Nora Fischer, the Van Baerle Trio and the Berlage Saxophone Quartet, to name but a few noteworthy names. Talent in itself is not enough to make it to the finals of Dutch Classical Talent. Participants are expected to present unique and stimulating programmes, a clear vision and a touch of boldness.
