Ragged Music Festival 2026

Chamber music according to Kolesnikov and Tsoy / 21 + 22 March 2026

In this second edition of the Ragged Music Festival, the passionate pianists Pavel Kolesnikov and Samson Tsoy celebrate the great themes of life in five rites: freedom, joy, time, memory, and the exuberant spring of Stravinsky’s Sacre du Printemps. Spanning past and present, and together with their friends, including legends like violinist Gidon Kremer, pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja and choreographer Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker.

The Ragged Music Festival is the brainchild of Pavel Kolesnikov and Samson Tsoy, two young Russian pianists from London who are praised for their innovative way of connecting classical and modern music. The Ragged School Museum in London provided the perfect setting for their festival of uncompromising chamber music. In 2023, they created an Amsterdam version for the Muziekgebouw, which left everyone eager for more.
