50% discount for VriendenLoterij participants
As a participant of the VriendenLoterij, you can order tickets for various concerts at the Muziekgebouw with a 50% discount (see list below). To receive this discount, enter your VIP-CARD number along with your postal code and house number during the ordering process. If this combination is approved, you can order tickets with a 50% discount in the ordering flow. You can order a maximum of 2 discounted tickets per concert per VIP-CARD.
How to order tickets with a discount?
Step 1: Log in to your Muziekgebouw account or create a new account.
Step 2: Select the concert of your choice in the agenda and choose the desired seats on the seating plan. Note: select the standard rate to be able to use the discount. Choose ‘continue’
Step 3: At the bottom of the order overview, you will find the 'Vriendenloterij' button
Step 4: Enter your VIP-CARD number, postal code, and house number (without addition) and confirm. The discount will then be automatically applied. If you have a second VIP card, go through this step again.
Step 5: Check out.
Which concerts does this promotion apply to?
This promotion applies to almost all concerts at the Muziekgebouw. You can purchase tickets up to four months in advance according to this schedule: in the last week of September, the concerts in January become available; in the last week of October, the concerts for February, etc. If there is no 'Vriendenloterij' button in the order overview, then unfortunately there are no Vriendenloterij tickets available for that concert.
Good to know
As a participant of the VriendenLoterij, you can buy a maximum of 2 tickets per concert per VIP-CARD with a 50% discount. If you buy more than 2 tickets for the same concert, you will pay the normal price for the extra tickets. If you want to buy discounted tickets for multiple concerts, please go through the flow again. Also, if you have multiple VIP-CARDS, you will need to go through the ordering process again for each VIP-CARD. It is only possible to book tickets up to 4 months in advance.
Bring your VIP-CARD (physically or in the app) to the concert. It may be checked.
About the Vriendenloterij
50% discount on tickets at many venues
Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ is a member of the VSCD, the association of venues in the Netherlands. The VSCD and the VriendenLoterij have entered into a partnership aimed at adding new discount offerings for all VriendenLoterij participants, allowing a broader group of visitors to find their way to theaters, concert halls, and performance venues.
Every participant of the VriendenLoterij receives a VIP CARD. With this VIP CARD, a participant can enter over 150 museums across the Netherlands for free, receive discounts on many day and evening outings, and now also purchase tickets for various performances and concerts at a 50% discount.
The Muziekgebouw is part of the first group of venues where this discount offer is available to VriendenLoterij participants.
