With your contribution, you make it possible for us to keep programming music, and you help musicians to keep playing. You also support our special musical projects, SoundLAB, and the creation of new compositions.

When you support us as a Friend of the Muziekgebouw, you can choose to have the amount debited from your account on a monthly basis or all at once at the beginning of the season. From an annual contribution of €50 we offer you, as a Friend of the Muziekgebouw, various benefits.

• Invitations to special Friends Events
• The opportunity to purchase tickets for the new season before the general public has access to them
• You will receive the Friends magazine DichtbIJ (in Dutch)

• An invitation to a special extra activity every season

• Invitation to exclusive evening: the Musical Salon in the Grand Hall

• Invitation to the Season Opening or a Festival Opening of the Muziekgebouw
The contributions of our Friends enable us to realise projects such as:
• the Minimal Music Festival (April 2026) and our annual Terrace Concerts (in July and August)
• educational projects such as SoundLAB and SoudLAB Outreach
• commissioning composers to create new compositions, in collaboration with Ammodo
• our anniversary festival Muziekgebouw 20 years!
Leaving a legacy
For many of our Friends, the Muziekgebouw is a place that has been part of their lives for many years. Music marks memories, encounters and life transitions. Some Friends choose to continue that connection in the long term by including the Muziekgebouw in their will.
A bequest, whether large or small, helps to ensure that music remains accessible to future generations. It is a personal choice, to be made in your own time. Anyone wishing to find out more is welcome to discuss this with us at their leisure and in complete confidence.

Tax advantages
The Muziekgebouw has the cultural ANBI status, which means that you can deduct a large part of your (one-off or recurrent) donation from your Dutch income tax. On www.anbigift.nl/muziekgebouw you will find a calculation tool to quickly see your tax advantage. In addition, the Muziekgebouw is completely exempt from Dutch inheritance tax, which means that a gift from an inheritance will fully benefit the objective.
