I don’t know the artist, is that a problem?
Certainly not. In fact, many visitors discover something or someone for the first time at Muziekgebouw. The quiz and our concert recommendations will help you get off to a good start.
What do I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. There’s no dress code: from casual to slightly smarter, anything goes.
How long does a concert usually last?
It varies from concert to concert, but you can always see the start and end times on the concert page. That way, you know exactly what to expect in advance.
Can I have something to eat or drink before the concert?
Yes. Before the concert, you can pop into the Dudok city café and brasserie on the IJ for a drink, lunch or dinner. That way, you can easily make a full evening or afternoon of it.
